Weather-Resistant Bungee Cord With Locking Hooks

Outer sleeve: 600D polyester braid with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and fibre degradation under prolonged sunlight exposure. Inner core: blended natural/synthetic latex for balanced elasticity and temperature resilience. Hooks: drop-forged carbon steel with black electrophoretic finish, rated for static load up to 120 kg (tested per EN 12195-2 methodology). Length variants align with common UK transport configurations: 100 cm suits folding bikes and small panniers; 120 cm fits hybrid/mountain bike rear racks with top bags; 200 cm covers dual-saddlebag setups or motorcycle top boxes. Hooks feature integrated safety stops to prevent accidental opening during transit. The cord’s tapering profile reduces wind flap at speed and improves knotless anchoring. Tested for performance between −5°C and +40°C — covering full UK seasonal range. Used by courier cyclists in London, touring riders on NCN routes, and campers on Dartmoor and Snowdonia — where reliability in changeable conditions is non-negotiable.
