When our stars aligned

sometimes fate takes fifteen years... and thousands of miles to finally bring twopeople together. jax i've been doing just fine on my own, living life on autopilot after my time in the navy... when my gram told me in her last hours that she'd always known the girl i was supposed tobe with, i figured it was the meds talking. then the new girl across the hall crashed my bachelor lifestyle and made me thinktwice. now all i can think about is the leggy, mischievous, and sweet woman from georgiawho's gotten under my skin. aly all i ever wanted in life was to love and be loved... leaving my hometown to move cross-country and start over in my thirties should feelterrifying, but it's honestly liberating. from losing my found family to leaving a man who kept me in an emotional pressurecooker, i've come to terms that the only love i'll find is within me and i'm fine with that. until i meet the one guy who makes me want to break my vow. too bad he's sworn off relationships entirely.
