When the sky remembers

When the sky breaks open, it remembers everything we tried to forget. when the sky remembers is a haunting and lyrical poetry collection that explores the storms we carry inside us-the heartbreaks we survive, the grief we hide, and the healing that arrives only after everything has fallen apart. through vivid storm imagery and emotional free-verse, renée sanchez captures the way loss echoes through our lives like thunder, how memory flashes back like lightning, and how even the fiercest weather eventually softens into light. these poems unravel the intimate connection between the sky and the human heart as they move through collapse, chaos, surrender, and renewal. each piece feels like standing barefoot in a downpour-raw, aching, cleansing, impossible to turn away from. the storm becomes a witness, a mirror, and a keeper of truths we are not always ready to hold. for anyone who has ever felt undone by love, overwhelmed by emotion, or comforted by the sound of rain, this collection offers a place to breathe. a place to release. a place to remember that even after the darkest storm, the world glows differently.
