Woodquail Bamboo Childrens Easel with Led Screen, Painting and Learning Artist Easel
To start with, the easel helps the child to work on a drawing. The child learns how to draw lines and pay attention to detail. After initially tracing the image, the child can compare the result to the original and see what he/she has forgotten to copy.
A child's first experience of drawing on the easel is a learning one: the lines are not confident yet, but practice makes perfect. After your child has traced the original image, switch the screen off and ask him/her to compare his tracing to the original to see whether anything is missing in his copy. This will help develop attention to detail.
A second exercise is copying the colour from the original picture.
The child can identify if the correct colours have been chosen. This helps to develop the child's sense of colour.
The screen can be switched off. This allows the child to copy the picture independently and then paint it. The child learns to select the colours used by an artist.
The desk can also be used for art and crafts. The built-in lightbox allows the child to work on fine details without straining their eyes.
Children may also enjoy creating pictures with glass pebbles or sand on the desk. This is also useful for improving fine motor skills.
The Kids' Easel is made out of bamboo: this gives the desk a fresh airy look and will blend in well with any interior. As with all our bamboo products, this desk has been specially varnished to protect against water and to make cleaning easy.
When the lightbox is lowered and switched off, the kids' easel turns into a kids' desk.
The light screen is a translucent panel with LED lights inside. The brightness of the lights has been regulated according to standards of PC monitors. The brightness can be adjusted.
The desk features shelves for storing painting utensils.
The desk has a drawer with a removable divider inside that can be adjusted for different-sized paper or painting accessories.
The desk features include a roll of paper. It is attached to the crossbar and can be fixed to the frame of the light screen by 2 magnetic bars on the top and on the bottom of the screen. Additional paper rolls (10 metres x 54 cm) can also be purchased.
The wires are discreetly hidden, ensuring that it is child-friendly.
