XL6009 Adjustable Buck-Boost Module

This non-isolated DC-DC converter module features buck-boost functionality with continuous voltage adjustment from 1.25V to 35V output, accepting 5–32V input. It supports up to 4A input current and delivers up to 1.5A output current, with peak conversion efficiency of 94%. Built on a metal substrate for thermal stability, it operates across industrial temperatures (−40°C to +85°C) and delivers 20W under natural convection cooling, or up to 25W when fitted with an external heat sink. The module uses asynchronous rectification and switches at 400kHz, offering fast dynamic response (5% deviation in 200μs), tight load and voltage regulation (±0.5%), and low no-load current (15mA at 5–12V input). It includes enable control (active-high, threshold 1.4V), but lacks built-in short-circuit or reverse-polarity protection — users must add external fusing and input diode protection. Mounting is via two 3mm screw holes; connections are soldered directly to PCB pins. Ideal for automotive, solar PV, and wind power applications where input voltage fluctuates.
